1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing skanyx.com or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Who We Are

Skanyx is a vehicle diagnostics platform operated by MB "Skanyx", a company registered in the Republic of Lithuania (registered address: Giruliu g. 10, LT-12112 Vilnius). References to "we," "our," or "us" mean MB "Skanyx". You can reach us at support@skanyx.com.

3. Services Overview

Skanyx provides a vehicle diagnostics platform accessible through our mobile application and website. Our services include OBD2 fault code reading and analysis, vehicle health monitoring, AI-powered diagnostic insights and repair recommendations, pre-purchase inspection (PPI) reports, and subscription-based access to advanced diagnostic features. Service availability and features may vary by subscription plan.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide a valid email address that you control
• Keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date
• Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not share access credentials with unauthorized users
• Report any security vulnerabilities or suspicious activities
• Not upload malware or attempt unauthorized access
• Not scrape or harvest data
• Not interfere with or disable security features
• Not use our name, logo, or content without written permission
• Not create derivative works based on our intellectual property
• Not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including graphics, copy, animations, and code—is owned by Skanyx and protected by copyright law. 6. Prohibited Uses

7. Disclaimer

The Skanyx service, website, and all information are provided "as-is" for informational and diagnostic purposes only. Diagnostic information, fault codes, and repair recommendations are not professional repair advice and must not be solely relied upon to diagnose or fix a vehicle. Always consult with a qualified mechanic or automotive professional before performing any repairs. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities. Vehicle modifications, coding changes, or repairs performed based on our diagnostic information are done at your own risk.

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate diagnostic insights, health scores, failure predictions, and repair recommendations. AI-generated outputs are informational only and may contain inaccuracies or errors. You should not rely solely on AI-generated information to diagnose, repair, or make purchasing decisions about any vehicle. Always consult a qualified mechanic or automotive professional.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to analyze vehicle data and generate diagnostic results, health assessments, failure predictions, and recommendations. These AI-generated outputs are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated content. You acknowledge that: (a) AI-generated diagnostic information is not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection; (b) any repairs, modifications, or purchasing decisions made based on AI-generated information are at your own risk; (c) the AI models powering our services may be updated, changed, or improved at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Skanyx will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: vehicle damage, personal injury, property damage, or financial loss resulting from diagnostic information, repair recommendations, or vehicle modifications. Our maximum liability to you, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the greater of €100 or the amount you paid us, if any, in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Skanyx harmless from any claim, demand, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any rights of another.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Before filing any claim you agree to attempt informal resolution by emailing support@skanyx.com; if unresolved after 30 days, either party may proceed to court. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, this clause does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

12. Online Dispute Resolution

In accordance with Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform, available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, but we will consider doing so on a case-by-case basis. 13. Minimum Age

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use this site. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18 you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

14. Suspension / Termination

We may suspend or remove your access at any time and for any reason (for example, breach of these Terms or suspected abuse). Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

15. Third-Party Links & Services

The site may link to or integrate third-party content (e.g. social media, analytics). We don't control these providers and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices. Your interactions with such third parties are subject to their terms and privacy policies, not ours.

16. Force Majeure

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, natural disasters, power outages, war, government action, Internet disruptions, pandemics, or acts of terrorism).

17. Email & Marketing Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive emails about product updates and launch information. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting us. By providing your email, you agree that we may send you service-related notices, including those regarding changes to these Terms, by email.

18. Analytics & Cookies

We use analytics tools and cookies to understand how visitors interact with our site. These tools collect anonymized data about your browsing behavior to help us improve our site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect site functionality.

19. Changes to These Terms

22. Subscriptions & Payments

Skanyx offers subscription plans for access to diagnostic features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and will automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@skanyx.com. Refunds for unused subscription periods are provided in accordance with our refund policy and applicable law. All payments are processed by third-party payment processors, and we do not store your full payment card information.

23. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g., an email to support@skanyx.com). If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your decision to withdraw from the contract. For digital services, if you have given your express consent and acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has fully begun, the right of withdrawal may not apply.

24. Hardware & Warranty

SKANYX does not sell hardware directly. OBD2 adapters are purchased from third-party retailers and are subject to each retailer's own return and warranty policies. 25. Beta & Early Access

Some features may be labeled as "beta," "early access," or "experimental." These features are provided "as-is" and may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to change. By using beta features, you acknowledge they may not function as intended and may cause issues. We are not liable for any problems arising from use of beta features. Beta features may be discontinued or modified at any time without notice.

26. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or submit through the service (including vehicle data, diagnostic reports, and feedback). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve our services. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.
